Developers, take advantage of Apple’s spatial computer now!
While using powerful technologies like Xcode, SwiftUI, RealityKit, ARKit, and TestFlight, a new suite of tools and technologies for Apple Vision Pro has just become available.
The visionOS Software Development Kit (SDK) can create new apps to give the public a better and more immersive experience, including windows, volumes, and spaces.
To aid in optimizing 3D content, an all-new tool available with Xcode called Reality Composer Pro lets creators preview and prepare 3D models, animations, images, and sounds, so they can look seamless on Vision Pro.
They can also test such models with different environments using the new visionOS simulator. Starting next month, developers who have been building 3D apps and games using Unity can also port their apps to Vision Pro.
HeartX, on the other hand, can take advantage of practicing with hyper-realistic 3D models of the heart for their aspiring medical practitioners.
Other useful collaborations include using interactive 3D content and mixing it with the real world.
For instance, the djay app lets users mix music with just their eyes and hands. PTC and JigSpace may also want to leverage Vision Pro for AR solutions.
Moreover, Apple is set to open developer labs in multiple locations worldwide to provide developers with the hands-on experience to test their apps on Apple Vision Pro hardware, while also getting support from Apple engineers.
The visionOS SDK, updated Xcode, Simulator, and Reality Composer Pro are available for
Apple Developer Program members at developer.apple.com.

FIFTY FIFTY, a Korean girl group formed just last year, has completed its remarkable rise to the top of music charts as “Cupid (Twin Ver.)” earned the top overall spot in Apple Music Singapore Top Songs of 2023 chart.
The song also ranked eighth in the Top Shazamed Songs of 2023 list in the island. No other song was searched on Shazam the most than JIN’s “The Astronaut,” followed by Rema’s hit song “Calm Down.”
