Lagu itu diaransemen ulang dari kidung berbahasa Prancis abad ke-18 berjudul “Les Anges dans nos campagnes” yang kemudian diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Inggris oleh Uskup James Chadwick.

Jangkauan vokal Aguilera dalam lagu tersebut dinilai luar biasa, menurut Cosmopolitan.

Lagu tersebut bercerita tentang kelahiran Yesus yang dikisahkan dalam Injil Lukas.
